The Art of Being

Purpose, Identity & Inner Transformation

What does it mean to know who you are — before the titles, the roles, and the expectations other people place on you? This talk draws from philosophy, coaching practice, and personal experience to explore the inner work of becoming someone with a settled sense of self. It is not motivational. It is investigative.

Audiences Walk Away With
  • A framework for understanding purpose — not as a career goal, but as a way of being
  • Greater self-awareness about the gap between who they are and who they're becoming
  • Practical reflection tools they can use the same day

Why Young People Need Political Literacy

Citizenship, Power & the Responsibility to Understand

Political systems shape every aspect of life — healthcare, education, the price of food, who gets to speak and who doesn't. Yet most young people are never taught how they actually work. This talk makes the case that political literacy is not a political act. It is a survival skill — and a moral one.

Audiences Walk Away With
  • A clear understanding of how political systems function and why they matter to ordinary life
  • Increased civic confidence — the sense that this is theirs to understand and engage with
  • Practical starting points for informed participation

Women, Leadership & Public Life

What It Costs, What It Requires, What It Creates

Women in leadership is often framed as a diversity question. This talk reframes it as a structural one — about who gets access to decision-making, what changes when that access expands, and what women themselves need to navigate institutions that weren't designed with them in mind.

Audiences Walk Away With
  • A clearer understanding of structural barriers — not as obstacles to accept, but as systems to eventually change
  • Language and frameworks for navigating leadership without losing themselves
  • Honest reflections from a woman who has worked inside politics, business, and civic institutions

What Should Schools Teach Beyond Academics?

The Gap Between Education and Life — and How to Close It

Schools teach children to pass exams. They rarely teach them to manage emotions, handle money, understand civic systems, navigate digital life, or build meaningful relationships. This talk names the gap directly — and makes the case for why human development belongs in the classroom.

Audiences Walk Away With
  • A clear picture of what the current curriculum leaves out — and why it matters
  • Practical frameworks for what values education looks like at different grade levels
  • Concrete next steps for educators, school leaders, and parents who want to act

The Inner Life of a Leader

Purpose, Conscience & the Long Game

Leadership is often taught as strategy and execution. This talk goes deeper — to the interior decisions that determine whether a leader remains principled over time. Drawing from political work, entrepreneurship, philosophy, and coaching practice, it explores what it takes to lead from the inside out.

Audiences Walk Away With
  • A sharper sense of the difference between leading for outcomes and leading from values
  • Tools for navigating pressure without compromising on what matters
  • A more honest relationship with their own motivations as leaders
